Wondering anyone may have experience with the Powertech RED propellers, and if they mind running high in the water. Not surface piercing. I like them so far, but need to raise my outboard another set of holes to get rigging correct for my particular boating setup. TY
never used the RED props but my brother has good results with I think this style PT prop on his Twin Vee Power Cat

is 4 blade and has what I would call a double cup- I think they call it hard wall cup. Basically you will see a noticeable lip on the cup. We had to raise the motor on his cat as there is a bunch of dirty water between the hulls, so this style prop works well up high, just don't know how it compares tot he RED series.
Also may want to look at a revolution 4 they work well up high. I run one on my 21 ft Sea Ray BR and its the only prop I can fully trim up without blowing out. It really allows me to lift the hull out.
One thing I would caution is any of these props to work high in the water will have a lot of blade area and cup so you may need to go down in pitch vs what you are running now. The cupping and blade area will deliver less slip but hinder holeshot and WOT RPM vs other styles of prop. Best if you can work with a shop that will let you try before you buy.
