you now guys it was difficult to remove the 4 bolts. All of them broke. The matter is that i trusted someone who made things worse and wounded the area where the gasket steps while trying to drill new holes on the broken bolts.I think of using a strong silicone (sicaflex) and stick the water pocket onto its place without using gasket but i don't know if the exhaust will influence the sicaflex wich is perfect sealer for water but not for very high temperatures. What is your opinion?

i've had the miss fortune of breaking off them bolts. only three though. don't know where your at with drilling. but i was able to get the broke pieces out. i made a jig though and used the one screw hole i had that was good to mount the homemade jig (don't sound like you have that option). but i also drilled one totally freehand. so it can be done. with much pain. if you've drifted off them ss bolts and are now into the aluminum drive. i don't think there's many options left other than replace the upper housing..... :( hope someone has better new for you.
my understanding is that after them waterpocket cover bolts are broke off. that's the end of the upper housing. unless you can get the broke studs out... which as you see, is no small task.. good luck.. i have no idea if glue would work or not....

them waterpocket cover screws sure ain't nothing to be messin with are they... we know.... :(

Ziggy,it's not exactly like that .After much pain using an extension i managed to drill the broken pieces and opened new threads not so perfect job but i have 4 bolts to keep the water pocket in place. My question has to do with the surface that got wounded so using the gasket itself is not enough. Is it better to use the gasket together with sealer or the sealer itself?

Ayuh,.... That's a Judgement Call,..... Your Call,.... We can't see how boogered up it is.....

Clean it up,+ smooth things out as best you can,+ I'd use sealant on the gasket.....
Then keep an eye on your water flow for awhile....
Just don't go overboard with the Glue.......;)
