Pre casing for auger

Last year I started drilling shallow wells with my digger derrick.
I had been using either an 18 or 22 inch (diameter) auger with kelly bar extension for a total drillable depth of 19.6 feet.
The one thing that I ran into was that once I hit the gravel seam it would sluff into the hole, so the one thing I thought I could do was get a 24 inch piece of pipe and use it for a "pre caseing", till the hole was deep enough that I could drop in the spiral style culvert and back out the steel pipe/caseing.

Does anyone know a place where these sizes of pipe are used or sold at a resonable price?
Thanks
