Pre-start system check Whistle not heard now Crank / no start

Hi, 1998 Searay 5.7 Mercruiser. When I turn on the key u always hear the Fuel pump and a lihgt whistle ( not the Major Alarm ) but now the engine cranks fine. The electric fuel pump works. but no start. Checked fuses, Gear oil monitor Emergency shut-off.
The Knox sensor is rusted and fall apart, ordered one.
Does anyone know what else is in the circuit? Cant find the wiring dia.
