Re: Presidential address on Irag

"The surest way to avoid attacks on our own people is to engage the enemy where he lives and plans. We are fighting that enemy in Iraq and Afghanistan today, so that we do not meet him again on our own streets, in our own cities."

"This will take time and require sacrifice. Yet we will do what is necessary, we will spend what is necessary, to achieve this essential victory in the war on terror, to promote freedom and to make our own nation more secure."

"The terrorists have cited the examples of Beirut and Somalia, claiming that if you inflict harm on Americans we will run from a challenge," Bush said. "In this they are mistaken."

That says it all - The America under GW does not cut and run like Cowards

We either take the fight with the terrorist to them, or we will be defending our own properties here in the future. Anyone that cannot see that, is dummer than dora. :D :D

No liberals..were not done stealing oil yet. And if you got a problem with oil and the use of it, then get your butt to the middle east and ride a **** camel. Then you can quit worrying about it!

Meanwhile Bush has sent me a couple barrels already. God Bless America!!

;)

I guess I reached a new low... I didn't mean that we should run away... I just thought he gave it to the UN or something (remember I missed the last part and the people talking after kept talking about the UN) I also just heard that we might "loan them money for oil"

No, Ralph I really meant, that said it all. He could've just spent the rest of the speach driving that point home to the more dense, but I think he used his alotted time wisely. As for the oil theft...You got me..Sloopy is the one that heard him talk about that. I must've been drainin the main vien, becuase I myst it.

RyanT, Bayliner Cierra? I dunno, but saw him on a Contender'31 with twin Yammies a few year ago, in Boca Grande Pass, but I don't think it was his boat.

Nice job, I thought. The guy tells it like it is. No "flowery", egghead postulation. "Just the facts mam."

I know, the facts do not matter anymore. Today, it's, "what do you feel."

I believe G-Senior rides in a Whaler.

Stealing what? The wells are yet to produce anything?

But, I know what the lib's are thinking!

My local Home Depot is where they made Whalers for many, many years. I wish they were still made there so I could have gotten a deal!

Yep... He told us exactly what we wanted to hear, just like I figured he would.... Only gotta put up with his administration for 4 more years... Yep, G.W. will get re-elected for sure cause the only credible individual the Dems have offered up is Bob Graham, but because he is an honest man and since he does'nt have the flash and carismah, he does'nt have a snowballs chance in hell, sorry to say.. :(

As for stealing oil, go steal it man! I don't care... Economy is in the crapper and we gotta pay for all this somehow...

:D He's a lawyer and a successful career politician. He voted against all campaign finance reform.
Might as well make him a saint. Since he'd be the only honest politician on earth. :D
Dang snapper! Don't you know the only honest politician never gets beyond being the town's barber?

The lack of flash and charisma isn't why he won't get elected.
It's the fact he's a huge tax and spender.
He was a huge tax and spender as a Governor. As a Senator he's a huge tax and spender. As a Presidential candidate his economic solutions are more huge tax and spend measures.

Sorry to say the "L" word again snapper but while Graham is barely a moderate. He's a huge liberal tax and spender.

This isn't rhetoric, it's his record.

Oh, sorry.

As long as GW wasn't going to say "We surrender",
it didn't matter to me what he said or what it costs. We're in it, so we have to win it.

GW is a warrior and has proven to be the best man for President since we were attacked on 9/11.
