Pressure Tester Picture ?

Does anyone have I picture of a pressure tester they have made? If so, can you post it? I am interested to know where a fitting can be made/bought to fit the drain hole for a merc leg and what size it is. I have read that someone made one with a bycycle pump.<br /><br />Thanks

I use the fitting off my lower unit oil pump. If you don't already have one, you'll need one soon.

The Threads are 3/8thsX 16........... Sealed with an Oring...........<br /><br />Like Paul says,<br />The Easy Way to find the Fitting you're looking for,<br />Is to buy 1 of the Better Outdrive Oil Pumps.........Just hook Your hose to It..........<br /><br />You'll also need a gauge.......

If you use a bike pump you will need a gauge and a check valve

Ayuh,.................<br /><br />It's usually done if there's signs of Seal Failure........<br />Or,<br />After a Reseal Job, to Test the results..........
