Should I change the second battery out to a Deep Cycle?

Thanks...Rick

That depends on what you are running with the second battery. Does this boat have a dual battery switch, ACR/VSR? If the second battery is simply a backup for the starting battery you don't need a deep cycle. If you anchor for hours at a time running a high power audio system or other high-current draw accessories then a large deep cycle is suggested. Based on the little information you provided we can't tell you what you need.

Sorry Silvertip.... I dont anchor for hours at time, and only will occasionally use the radio at the dock, pretty much nothing else. Yes it does have a dual battery switch as well...
Thanks again...
