Been talking to a guy needing to part with his 95 21' Bayliner Capri SS. It has a 5.0L with a Mercruiser outdrive I believe. Has a new stainless prop, skis, knee boards, life jackets etc. Pretty much selling off the whole package. It really is a sharp looking boat. He is asking $3,650 but I am confident that I can get it closer to $3,000. What do you guys think? Steal, good deal, Ok deal or pass. This time of year people are letting everything go so if it isn't a "steal" in my opinion I will likely pass.

You need to know how to look at the hull, or pay to have a survey done. If that all checks out, it is worth it.

Bayliners are not well respected but 95' model year is ok from what I read. Hulls are thin hence the speed of them, and the stringers are known to rot. If all that is good I see no reason not to get it.

Of course look at the engine as well.
