I have a Western Auto outboard model# WG4 serial#513079 I was told it's a1952 model and also a1946-47 model Iwould like to know h.p and value of motor please and the right year and h.p please and thank you.

Howdy, PMM. <br /><br />If you read the headers on the various forums, (which nobody seems to do) you will note that this forum is for "non-repair topics". You will also note that the the other outboard forums are titled for "Troubles and Repair".<br /><br />Would you call Wolface's question one of "Troubles and Repair"??

Wolface, Your Wizard is based on the early Mercury KD4 6 hp motor. 46-47 vintage.<br /> Value is very subjective depending greatly on condition,comepleteness and how much someone wants it.A comeplete non running motor of unknown condition might sell for $25-$50 A comepletely restored motor will get a good deal more.You may<br />be able to get an idea where you are at by looking on Ebay.Even if you cant find a Wizard you can get an idea of price spreads.
