primer bulb conversion?

can i replace my fuel primer bulb with a low pressure electric fuel pump? i have a 96 johnson/omc 115 v4

Howdy, Dane.<br /><br />I suppose you could, so long as it doesn't overwhelm the carb float valves. <br /><br />I wouldn't. It would be just one more possible disabling failure.<br /><br />Good luck.

Hello<br /> yes it is possible. walbro used to make pumps for this. you must insure ,for your safty and the safty of those around you, that the pump is USCG approved. I dont know of any kits avalible for that anymore but I am sure someone has it. good luck and keep posting
