I would like to know waht comes in the kit.

i believe the plastic end, and gaskets, not positive.

i don't know what is in the rebuild kit but i had to cobble one together for my 1994 40hp johnson in canada one year. we took parts from mine and 2 others to get 1 working one. we did it in a fishing camp on the fish cleaning table. i don't remember there being anything difficult at all to taking it apart and putting it back together. i don't remember what size motors the 2 bad primers were from but the mounting brackets were different on all three.

It's kind of like a tire valve. I get fuel out the top when priming and wanted to know if the valve inside come with a kit. I have seen a gasket by itself but that is not the problem for me.

So does it just pull out? Looks like the O-ring is all that is holding it in.
