Printer Pros/cons, decals & thin stock?

I'm going to try to make my own water slide decals for some projects I'm working on.<br /><br />I would love to hear any input from people that have done this.<br /><br />Regular inkjet?<br />Photo inkjet?<br />troubles with paper feed?<br />tracking lines from printer when using thin stock?<br />tips for applying large (7 x 10") decals?<br /><br />Do you know of any websites that may cover this?<br />I've contacted a couple etail decal supply stores, but none have replied.
