have a 275 volvo penta with 1.6 ratio v8 aq260b. lower unit froze and busted. need to know what lower unit housing will work. have access to a 4 cyl. lower vp

since the uppers are all the same and the lowers are what makes the difference, you will need the correct gear ratio lower

i would like to take gears out of mine and put in new housing. i was wondering which housings would be the same.
