have an 85 hp force. no idea what year. On the last trip out it began to bounce every few minutes. The problem became worce as i brought it back to the dock( at very low speed ). It was bouncing every second or so. I spent several hours going throught the posts and think it might be a shift problem. I need to know how the adjust the shift linkage. That is if I did not tear out the gears bringing her in. Is there something else that might be the problem? I ran the engine in reverse and it did not bounce.
