problem with prop

i have a 1967 johnson 60 hp that goes fine when doing 5-8mph but when i give 3/4 throttle it just revs up but does not go anywhere any ideas?

Guy, it sounds like you have spun a hub, take a felt tip marker and mark from one side of the prop aross the rubber hub onto the metal on the other side, then run the boat ome bak and see if the marks still lineup and if they don't it is a spun hub.

I'm having the same problem just today with, just low idle low throttle boat moves fine, give it more gas and I'm going no where If it is the "spun hub" what do I do to fix it????? please help
