problem with tilt +trim 1993 Merc 200 hp

I need help since repowering to a 1993 200hp Merc from a 1985 merc 150 hp, the motor won't trim down from shift control button. It does shift up and down from motor trim switch. I can test with a meter put need to know where to put leads. I checked bullet connectors and all seem connected securely.I'm thinking bad switch at the shift control but it is 1 year old as well as wire harness.Any help would e appreciated.Thanks again.Ken

Green/white wire controls the down solenoid. You should have a 3 pin connector coming from the side mounted controls. The connector could be dirty or loose. Probably no connection on pin 3.
