Looking for somebody who repaints aluminum boats hulls in NorthEastern Indiana. We recently acquired a 1970 Starcraft Jet Star and it needs taken care of! Also there is some wear along the bottom on the keel that needs some repair. Any ideas? We can't find ANYBODY that does this anymore...and we aren't set up for DIY...

as for repaint, an auto bodyshop that thinks outside the box can do it for you ( not a 'collision center' ).. As long as the paint is oil based single stage either acrylic or urethane, auto paint is above the quality of marine topsides paint. If the aluminum hull needs repair, you might need to go to a place that can repair them.

Yup check with a local body shop. If they need work they can do it. You can use oil based acrylic enamel with Acrylic enamel Hardener and it will look great and last a good long time. You can clear coat it to but most don't. No clear coat makes it much easier to do minor touch ups AT HOME.

any industrial paint facility or even a farm equipment paint facility would work.

however some rustoleum and hardener can be applied with a roller. see woodonglass's signature.

Great! Thanks for the tips! I think we found a winner! They do tractor trailers and RV's, too. Never would have thought to call their without your help! Thank you!
