Program to Edit DVDs?

I borrowed a unit from a friend that allows me to copy my old VHS tapes to DVDs. This is strictly a copy device that does not allow me to edit on the run.

My Question. Is there a program or device that will allow me to view and edit my newly made DVDs? I have MS Movie Maker installed on my PC but do not see how I can edit a DVD. I can only play back the DVD on Windows Media Player.

I want to edit and mix various DVDs onto one disc.
Thanks for reading.

Dazzle. You get the cords to plug in, and the program to install. It's a little tricky if you don't know much about computers, but not very. I fought my way thru it, knowing absolutely nothing. Has a lot of capabilities that I'm too dumb to figure out. Got mine 2 years ago after I first got the computer, transferred a bunch of VHS and VHS-C, worked good enough for what I wanted, still use a VHS-C camcorder. Dazzle was around $40 then, may be something newer, better now. Also, the DVDs play on my DVD player.

Thanks Hoss. I'll google Dazzle and see what I find.

Some video cards already have the inputs for video.

I found out that mine did after buying a Dazzle unit. D'oh
