Does any one know the type of alloy/silicon content of genuine Volvo props as i have just damaged a new one and volvo are less than helpfull.
as we weld a lot of aluminium we are well aware that the correct type of rod will produce a much better repair, thanks.

You might ask at a prop shop what rod they use.
If you don't have pitch blocks you can't do a proper repair anyway.
If it is dinged up enouigh for repair you will at least have to
check the pitch.

hi, well its not dinged that bad, its not bent all that has happened is there is slight chips at the end of two of the blades, and because its brand new i dont want to leave it.
