Prop compatibility question

I've got a Volvo Penta SX drive which I believe has 19 splines. My current prop is a SS 14-1/2" 17p 3 blade prop. I have a friend who is giving me a mercruiser Alpha I 14-1/2" 19p 4 blade prop (15 splines I believe?). I've read the adapter kit here will allow me to use the merc prop on my volvo drive - is that right? Is the hub diameter the same for the merc and volvo props?

Next question is which hub kit to purchase- the one for the volvo drive right? The hub kit will match the splines of my drive and then the hub kit will correctly mate with the merc prop?

Ayuh,... That would depend on whether this prop is built to use the Flo-torq hubs...

It could be an ole pressed in hub, which is of No use to ya...
