prop crossover question

I would like to put a MerCruiser high five prop on a Johnson 175 GT outboard. Is this possible and if so, what hub kit would i need for this crossover?

Hello Dennis and welcome aboard.

Yes, a high five will go on a J175. Merc make the High-five with a removable hub, called Flo-Torq II?, and I believe they make a hub insert for Johnsons.... What year is you J175GT?

I have also noticed that both your posts in iBoats have been 'polls'. This is not necessary, as we have the facility to create just normal threads... I have included an example for you...

The prop hub you need is -835267Q1... And you're in luck, iBoats sells them HUB ASSEMBLY KIT E/J Outboard 835267Q1 - Quicksilver - iboats

Thanks for your reply. I will check into the kit. Haven't decided if I will go to a high five yet. I now have a stainless 4-blade prop on now. It seems to be ok. I don't know if I will gain that much.
