I am looking for a prop for my 1956 evinrude 30hp. My current prop is in perfect condition minus the rubber hub is broken loose from the prop itself. My current prop is a 10 1/2- 12pitch 3/4" bore. I found a used one which is very similar, but is 10"-9 1/2 pitch. would this prop work ok?
thanks for the help in advance

If the prop is perfect you can get a new hub pressed into it at a prop shop.
The 9" pitch may be too light.Depending on your boat and typical load.
Motor might rev too high. To get the prop and setup right. You will need a gps and a tach.A tTinytach will work for you.
They have web site.

I think so , new props listed here, 2 sizes, are $100. each.
An unimformed guess about $40 to rehub.
There must be a couple of prop shops around ask at the marinas or the launch ramp.
Look in the yellow pages under propellers. There are at least 2 shops here in central NY.
One shop isn't listed under props Only as a welding shop It is tucked back barely visable from the road
Only says welding many folks find them.
