prop for 4hp mercury

i have a 4hp merc.sel#9172943 where can I find a prop for this ( lil fella)? when I bought this motor I was told it was a 1994 .but looks buy ser# to be a 1976/1978. need a little help finding a new prop. or do ihave to build one myself

Pictures of your motor ?-------Not sure where you are looking but I say finding a prop should be easy !

don"t have a pic handy. see the issue is all I find are 12 and 15 spline props mine is a 7 spline made in Belgium. merc show all parts N/A

thanks for your response . really fell silly beind a Cadet on here. I was a long it member on here from 2000/2010. and some how it got deleted/ wish I could recover my old status.

merc#48-70453a1 7 is the prop part# sorry it want let me add pics. says too large

Your motor comes up as a 74 gnat. I believe you have the plastic prop there is one on E-bay.

I would like to find after market . Not the plastic. It broke way to easy. Looking for aluminum or stainless. I my try to macth the size and picth. And press press my hub out. Macth it to something with the same hub o/d. And put my 7 spline in it. You would think solas would have one. Great little motor.

Far too old to find a lot of parts for.. Mercury isn't like OMC where everything is available. OMC used the same engines from the 70's until just before they went out. You'll have to use your hub, and have it fit to another prop if you can. Plastic props are common on low hp kickers.

Would a Belgium made merc really be from the 70’s ? I’m not sure it would.
