Prop for Merc 20 (1978)

I replaced a 3 blade prop (9P A1) Original was a 2 blade. At WOT Boat moves about same speed as at mid throttle- Also will not put boat on plane and motor revs up with no response. Suspect I have wrong Prop. Can you suggest correct Prop? nutboldt@crosslake.net

Nutboldt:<br /> Sounds like you may have a hub that is slipping.<br />Put a scratch mark on the hub cylinder (at exhaust end) and the hub itself ( opposite first scratch mark. Run the boat and see if they still line up. You'll probably see that they don't. Either rehub or another prop.
