Prop for my Larson 850

I just bought a 2011 Larson 850 I/o with a mercruiser 190 hp motor. The boat is great but it seems to need more power when taking off like when I'm pulling a skier. The motor had a 14 23 prop. A friend suggested changing props but doesn't know what size. Can someone please suggest a prop to help with my problem. Thanks.

Hi Matt and welcome aboard!

Let's start by asking the standard set of questions, some of which are already listed in your opening statement, but this let's you know everything that is helpful>
1) Performance issue you are trying to correct.
2) Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless as a minimum.
3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required).
4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful)
5) Engine/drive make, model, year, and HP
6) Boat make model, year, length and weight

I'll hold off any initial statements until we can learn more from the above line items.
