Prop for new Quicksilver 3.0 Marine engine with SEI sterndrive

I have a 1750 Carvelle fish and ski with a new 3.0 Quicksilver motor and new SEI 116 stern drive going in just wondering which prop would be the best for the setup

Hello and welcome to iboats...

The best prop is the one that, at Wide Open Throttle, allows the engine to run in the 4400 to 4800rpm range. I'd start with a 19". Take it out, with a normal load on board, and see what the engine runs up to...If the revs are too low, decrease the pitch, too high, increase it. Each prop size (2" of pitch) will change the revs by about 400rpm.

Do you have a history with this boat ? Do you know what previous prop pitch and wot rpm was ? If not id say start with a 19” pitch black max see how it performs. If you focus on watersports may want to consider lower pitch or 4 blade, but 19” would likely be a good all-around pitch
