prop for pontoon

hi there<br /> i need info on a prop my boat is a 28 ft pontoon<br />with a 1973 85 hp johnson. boat had io drive but<br />i welded up a transom for ob my question is about my prop 13x13 is this the best prop for this boat do not know my rpms engine sounds great<br />just wondering if this is the best. marina that sold me the prop is closed. thanks grampy

Welcome aboard!!<br />I'd say you're close...My buddy's 28ft'r with an older 115 turns a 14X13 about 5700RPM.<br />With no tach, we really don't have a reference, but I think you're close.
