Help, I lost my prop Sunday. Nothing left on the propshaft but the rubber bushing, nut and cotter key! Found one on ebay, but seller says it fits a '58 and won't fit a '55. Anybody know what the pitch and diameter is? It is a shear pin type not a spline. I tried Iboats, by part number (I have a parts manual) and model and they don't have a listing. Please feel free to post any ideas or email. Thanks.

Came with a 9 x 8 three blade. Same prop will fit a 15-18-20-25hp where it would be used to push a real heavy load.

Edit: BTW, buy a 18hp flanged prop nut and the prop can't get off past the nut.

Just call laing'soutboards.com if you're in a hurry for one. Or hold out for one on ebay. Any prop from an OMC 10hp from like '54 to a '57 should work. I don't know the pitch. I think a '53 will as well.
Hope you find one,
JBJ

1958-64 will not fit. 1949-57 Johnson/Evinrude 10 hp prop will fit. Other than that FR listed the correct prop. Slight differences over the years, but 9 x 8 will work.

Found one on ebay for a starting bid of 19.99. I will bid on it, but the guy is already alerted that I need one. Hope he doesn't bid against me to drive the price up:rolleyes: Thank you guys for all your help. Oh, by the way comes with a new cotter pin and shear pin. Now don't you guys go bidding against me LOL
