I have a Triton 19X boat, 26 pitch 4 blade trophy plus prop. I have no low end power to load on trailer or get up on plane with 2 people and full livewells. I also hit rev limiter on topend. Any suggestions on what prop I should try, 3 or 4 blade? Thanks for any suggestions.

Welcome to the site. You need to provide some more info, namely the size of your motor, the rated max RPM it is rated for, the year of boat and motor, your rpm and speed readings at wide open throttle (WOT) any mods etc that have been done and I am sure some people more knowledgable than me will help stear you in the right direction.............Irv964

Ayuh,.... Which you Shouldn't be doing to begin with....

It creates Scour Holes that screws up the launch for people like Me, with longer trailers....

Re: prop help?

Sorry, It is a 2004 Mercury EFI 200hp 3.0 litre. The rev limiter is 5800 rpms. Gps top end speed is 71 mph. I have no problem hitting the rev limiter at WOT.

Re: prop help?

Not an expert but we need details. Are you saying it won't plane or takes a long time to plane? Is this a new developement or has it always been so?
Is the prop in good shape? Do you trim in for hole shot?Is there a lot of weight in the stern? It appears with a redline 71 mph speed your motor is healthy. If the prop is good and the tach/rev limiter are correct you have no place to go but up which will make the hole shot worse. The pros may see
a hole in these statistics but in the mean time help us with more info.
