Prop hub

I have a alpha one outdrive and the prop has a removeable square rubber center hub and a brass spline insert. I came across a couple of other props that I would like to try but the center hub is different it doesn't have the same rubber hub insert and the brass spline doesn't have the notches for the lock washer to be bent into. I can't seem to remove the center hub on these and don't know how you would lock the nut on. My question is can the center hub be removed so I can use mine it won't knock out like the other how does it come out. Sorry I can't give you any numbes they are corroded off but they all seem to be Michagan props

The old style rubber hub props are not interchangable with the newer square bore props. As long as the props you want to try have a Merc or Yamaha hub you can use them on your Mercruiser with the right mounting hardware.

Look for something compatible with Mercury's Flo Torque II hub system.
Michigan wheel's XHS hub has a line that is compatible.
