Fellas,
I'm a total newbie to the boating world and i have no idea what prop is on my boat.
I found these numbers:
48-65588a1 19p
Can anyone tell me what this means?
Boat is a 1971 Reniell 15' trihull with a 85 hp Mercury.

Thanks!
Craig

Re: Prop Identification

Ayuh,... It means it's a 19" prop that probably fits your Mercruy outboard....

Re: Prop Identification

It is a Merc part number 19 means 19" pitch. If water were a solid one revolution would move 19" through the water. In reality not being a solid there is a degree of slip.If you read the stickies at the top of the page and the helps at the iboats prop store page it will help you understand props a little better.Feel free to ask any questions about your boat, boating etc.Just try to get them in the proper section.
If your prop is aluminum or bronze it will be non magnetic if stainless it will be somewhat magnetic.
