Prop issues on 31 tiara ?? Vibrations

Hi guys, back for more help. Just bought a 1985 tiara 3100 twin crusaders.

When getting up to plane and beyond, vibrations start and don't subside till getting back down under 1100 rpms. I sync the engines as good as I can and they do sound fine.

This is not normal, correct????

Prop issue???

Could be anything that turns inc. prop, propshaft, marine gear (transmission) or engine issues. However . . . except for obvious prop damage, the first thing I would check is the cutlass bearings in the struts.

Prop shaft alignment,cutlass bearings as suggested,bent shaft.
If you can run one at a time ar least to the 1100 vibration point you may be able to pinpoint the faulty setup.

Got it, barnacles on prop shaft. The little buggers are a real pain, acid washed them off.

I would think in this era there would be a wax or something that would prevent them from living on any metal below the surface???
