prop issues

Hello, i recently purchased a tidecraft bass boat with a mariner 150 hp motor. When in water, it has trouble to plane at WOT. My buddy went to the front end of the boat and it eventually picked up speed and got it to plane. Compression was 120 on all cylinders when they checked it. Could it be a slip prop issue?

What is the wot rpm and gps speed?
Check that it is running on all cylinders.You wouldn't be the first to not realize you were down a cylinder or 2
except for the lack of power.

tilt/trim?? Was the motor all the way in?
