Prop Loading Up ?

I have a friend who purchased a used 14' Carolina Skiff with a 25HP Suzuki 2 cycle outboard motor, he took to a shop which works on Suzuki Motors and they did whatever was necessary to convert to a 30HP unit, You could tell the difference in performance afterwards, it operated fine with either 1 or 2 persons in boat until he had a Boat Manufacturer / Suzuki Dealer install him a CMC PT35 Tilt / Trim Unit, now with 1 person in it you have to ease throttle down at a steady rate until it gets on plane, then you can open throttle on up, with 2 persons it will not get on plane no matter how you operate throttle, both persons can get up in the front of the boat and it still will not plane out, prop not slipping, just feels to me that it is loading up, motor will not rev. on up, where would be a good place to start looking, any suggestions, also the Suzuki Dealer who installed says nothing wrong on their end, they also do not work on the motors, not even the ones that they sell,

Thanks,

Obviously something is wrong with the T&T install. Since these tend to set the motor back a bit, that certainly can affect performance. The farther back, the higher the motor can sit on the mount (I'm not talking trim here).
