prop lock questions please help!

some of you may have followed my orginal thread in trailers and towing (terrifying experience first time boat owner) anyway the dealer has had my boat for 2 weeks now and says it will be ready by sat morning - the boat had a prop lock on it and no key - removal of prop lock was one of the requests i gave them - i called the dealership today and the guy told me that they ordered a key and now prop lock can be removed but that they cant remove all of it because it has a whole assembly and would need a new hub assembly if they did and he said they are not going to do that - what the h#@% does that mean? any ideas? also i know this might be a dumb question but in reading alot of the threads on iboats i keep coming across the term (wot) what is wot?

I'm not sure what they are saying?? If they get a key they can remove lock, hub, and prop. If your just replacing the lock with the standard thrust washer nut and cotter pin, I'm not sure what there talking about.
Please let me know how you make out
