After hitting debris or running aground, on stone or sand, I can see the prop gets a littlle mis-shapen. Q:? I curently reform the prop. and then grind off the debris if any and put it back into service. Seems to work. Is this ok??

Oh, it is an alum. prop. on a Rude Lark VI 1964 40HP . Aslo I see that it is a pin drive on a solid shaft. Can I put the prop out further on the shaft? Can I switcfh from the 10" prop to a 12" prop...they fit, what will be the consequence?

Many THx.

You can "dress" the blade edges with a file if you are careful to remove the same amount from each blade.
If it bends a blade, it's hard to get it back in dynamic balance and that is usually best left to a prop shop.
when you say 10-12" do you mean diameter or pitch?
