prop ? on 45 hp classic fifty

Hello!I bought a 1987 45 hp classic fifty, It has a ss 13 pitch prop on it now,, When i put the boat in the water and try to run the motor sounds great and does not miss at all but does not have enough power to get boat on plain...and the motor doesn't sound like it's reaching full trottle could this be the prop.. motors compression is 149-152 on all 4 and there is no fuel leaks, great spark on all 4... someone siad the prop could be the wrong one... motor is on a 19 lowe roughneck thanks in advance for any help.I"D RATHER BE FISHING!

In looking at the Merc prop selector I come up with 12" pitch - not too far off...???
