I have found that at WOT my boat is at 4800 RPM, 58mph, it is kinda slow out of the hole, the prop pitch is 24.

I really have no complaint but just wanted some experts to chime in on the prop pitch as in, is it the right one for my boat.

Re: Prop Pitch again

If the tach is right and this is an OB (looks like a Merc 150 Opti in your pic) then you are over pitched by quite a bit. Post the engine info and then we can get you accurate info . . . ;)

I Agree.
Might try a 19" or 21"

Re: Prop Pitch again

How would changing to a 19 or a 21 affect my vessels performance?

How is the setup on the motor?
With the Hull level and the Anti-Vent plate level, Where is the Anti-Vent Plate at in relation to the bottom of the hull.

What is the operating range (RPM) of your motor?

More Questions:
Are you sure your Tach is correct ?
And is your speed Speedo or GPS ?

Reason I asked is, you are showing a slip percentage of only 2%. Highly unlikely.
