Prop pitch for 9.9

Hi guys, Do you think I can get any more speed if I change to a smaller pitch prop for a 1989<br /> Evinrude 9.9? I am pushing a Tracker Pro deep-v 16 Thanks

9 X 9 is the standard for that motor but there is a 9 X 10.5 available (Cabelas). I am really not sure you will gain all that much considering the size of the boat. I imagine that your boat might be rated for more horsepower....save your coin and save up for a larger motor.<br /><br />Bob
