Prop pitch? How do you measure?

The manual for Force 125 calls for 13" dia. x 19" Pitch propeller as standard. How would I determine what the pitch is on my propeller?

Mine is stamped on the hub, after the model# xxxxx 19P for example. I have read here that some need to be removed to see the numbers.

Wow. Thanks Skargo. That is easy. I looked on my prop and it says 13 1/2" x 17". Is this good or bad since my manual calls for a 13" x 19"?

It depends on if you engine is operating in it's powerband, and if your performance is satisfactory.

If you go to the prop section, you will get a ton of info.

the 17p is more for towing a skiier or tube, or heavy boat
