Welcome to the site deerpaw and congrats on your new boat.
In order to get the info your after the prop pro's will need to know your max rpm that your motor is rated for and your max rpm and speed at full throttle, preferably done with a GPS.

Once that info is made available, they will be able to steer you in the right direction. Good Luck........Irv964

Re: prop pitch

I believe that boat is rated for a 50 HP motor max. That means your 25 HP is only 50% of the rated maximum. The rule of thumb is to not power a boat with a motor that is less than 75% of maximum. That means the boat should probably have no less than a 35 HP motor. So the real issue is too small a motor, not a wrong prop. A 10 x 11 prop will probably help get on plane, but you would need to be very careful about full throttle operation as the motor may over rev. Top speed would also be reduced. Without a tach you can't tell that. I would suggest that you install a "Tiny Tach". Easy to install and would be helpful.
