How much do you guys pay to have your props refubished? Including the inards and having them clean the out up and balance it. I have a 14 1/4, 19 pitch on my mercruiser. I figured this was as standard as they came, so, it would be fairly cheap. Maybe $100. Oh, it is stainless. My local shop wants $145. This is my first time having it done. Thanks for any responses.

And how long does it usually take this time of year, too?

codyandamber

Depending on how bad it is, $145.00 isn't too bad for a stainless prop. Shouldn't take more than a week or two, but they may be busy right now. Heck, it cost me $75.00 to just clean up my 14" alumnimum prop.
