Prop problems on 55 hp johnson

Hello everybody, <br /> I got a question. How do you tell when a prop is bad. Is there a test you can preform without putting the boat in the water? <br />Thanks in advance, <br />Joe

Inspect the prop. Look for tears in the metal, are all the blades even? Inspect the rubber housing...if it is bad it is normally torn.<br /><br />Bob
