Re: prop problems

Normally prop hubs "Spin" due to a underwater strike. But they can also fail for other reasons. Such as if the engine is running too hot, then the exhaust gases that come out through the prop can actually melt the rubber hub or at least weaken it. In any event, take the prop to a prop shop and have it rehubbed. They can probably give you an idea of why it spun. It's also a good idea to always carry a spare prop onboard just in case.

Re: prop problems

pervious owner probably hit something. just because you have a good stream, does not mean the thremostats are opening, and cooling the motor.
