Hopfully someone better acquainted with Force will be along with a suggestion.
I would start with a 15 it may be a little light but yoiu could use it just don't let the motor over rev.If you get your max rpm and speed with the 15 you can figure what you need. While this is a prop question someone over in the Force section may be able to make a more accurate swuggestion.Tell them I suggested trying there.

While not a barn burner, the engine is not that weak either. If your boat is not always carrying a heavy load ( like more than 5 persons or lots of gear), start with a 13 diam X 17 pitch prop. A 17 pitch prop should be about the middle of the wide open throttle range or 4500-5500 RPM recommended by the manufacturer. Note that various props will come in slightly different diameters, that is, 13, or 13 3/8. That is OK---the important number is the pitch.

Re: prop question bayliner cobra

I've got a 1988 Bayliner Cobra with the same motor. I use a 13.25 X 17 pitch stainless prop most of the time. Turns about 5200 - 5300 RPM's WOT with 4 adults, full tank of gas and gear at around 43 MPH. When we are slalom skiing, I switch to a 13.75 X 15 stainless. The 15 pitch really improves holeshot with a 200 LBS+ slalom skier dragging in the water. The 17 pitch will do the job, just takes longer to get a slalom skier up. It works fine for anyone with two skis.

Like Frank says, a 17 pitch aluminum or stainless is a good all around choice.
