prop question... interesting... look

I am the one who has the boat that forward is reverse and reverse is forward. I had it checked out and they said it was something with the lower unit. More than likely the previous owner put a "post 1978" lower on my 1975 johnson seahorse 70hp motor. So....couldnt I theoretically put on a counter rotating prop (left turn) and it will be fixed? Ideas?

Sounds to me like maybe they put a counter-rotating (CR) lower unit on there with a standard prop, OR a prop for a CR on a regular lower unit. Either way, if you just get a prop that's opposite of what you have on there you'll be fine.
