Prop Question Mariner 50hp

Hi can any one tell me what the best sized prop would be for a mariner 50hp 2 stroke. What pitch would be best? We had a 10 on our motor which came off another engine. The boat would hardly rev at all and only 10 knots!

What boat? What RPM are you getting at WOT? Are you sure the motor is working properly?
