When I bought my boat the guy who owned it put on a new Stiletto prop. I went through the paperwork and couldnt find any documentation for it. I have a GM 5.7L and I believe that WOT RPM is around 4600 RPM but I can only get around 4100 RPM tops. I was wondering if I changed the pitch if I would be able to get more top end. Then again, I can cruise pretty good at only 2600 RPM and I get great mileage for a heavy Sea Ray 23 foot cuddy. Im afraid if I change the prop that I will lose economy without gaining that much speed. Any thoughts?
