prop question

it sucks that my first post has to be about me needing a new prop but here goes. I've got a 2007 bayliner runabout with the 5.0 v8 mercruiser and i messed the prop up. there's a guy that has the same size prop for sale but its for a volvo engine, can i use this on mine? thanks.

I know nothing about those 2, but I would just look into what your motor needs, like you're going to need a new one, if they have that one avaliable for sale then bam... I guess it would depend if the spline was the same and exhaust.

The Volvo prop may have a 19 spline hub and your Merc needs a 15 spline.

You may be able to have your prop repaired.
Also go to the prop sales and look up the Volvo and Merc props check the part numbers and description.

The odds are you have a Flo-Torq II hub on your prop and your friend does also. If the prop is a merc prop with parts that fit in the hob then its a Flo-Torq II hub. It could be a direct sawp using the same hub parts from your prop. My VP SX came with a merc BlackMax with Flo-Torq II, odds are so did yours.
