Prop Questions, Want more speed.

Hello. I have a 1989 Force 50hp outboard on my boat and I want it to go faster. What do I look for in changing the prop ? How do I know when I have done enough without going to far ? Thanks for the help !!! Dave

Dave, There is a forum just for your question. The moderator may even move this thread there.

On the more practical side. What is the pitch of your current prop, and its RPM at WOT? Basically, if you can reach the max recommended RPM at WOT with your current prop pitch, you can buy a prop with more pitch and likely go faster.d

Chris is correct, follow the forum list farther down and you will find "Prop questions and topics".
